Luminory Statement of Record as of 3 September 2026 Sourced 1 of 1

Methodology

How this record is built

Every figure Luminory publishes is either read directly from a Federal Register field or derived from one. This page says which is which, because a number whose derivation is unstated is an assertion rather than a measurement.

1. Source

The Federal Register API, federalregister.gov/api/v1/documents.json. Public, free, no key. Documents of type=RULE only: final rules that carry an effective date. Proposed rules, notices and presidential documents are excluded, because none of them binds.

Federal Register content is a work of the United States Government and is in the public domain.

2. The query

Rules whose effective_on falls between the record date and 500 days after it. The current window is 3 September 2026 to 16 January 2028, and the API reported 282 matching documents when it was read.

4. ⚠️ What is derived, and therefore weaker

Three things on this site are computed here rather than reported by the source. They are marked as derived in the source rail on every page that shows them.

5. What does not ship

A record with no source URL is dropped rather than published. 0 were dropped from the current pull.

Per-rule pages are earned, not automatic. A rule earns its own page only when there is enough sourced material to say something a calendar row does not already say; otherwise it appears as a calendar row and links to its Federal Register document. This is deliberate: a fan-out of thin near-duplicate pages is the shape that demotes a domain, and it would not serve a reader either.

6. Refresh and staleness

The record was generated 2026-09-03. Rules are added to the Federal Register daily, and effective dates are themselves amended by later rules, so the window moves. Every page states the date its figures were read. Nothing here is re-checked at page load.

7. ⛔ What this record is not

Not legal advice, and not a determination of coverage. Luminory records what binds and when. It does not state whether a rule applies to any person or organisation, and it does not interpret obligations. For applicability, read the rule and take advice.
